I've had 2000 running nicely for many months but resently, for no apparent reason, I have started getting the following blue screen error message and re-booting.

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Begining Dump of Physical Memory
Dumping Physical Memory To Disk

I tried the Microsoft site but couldn't find any reference to the message. What does it mean and what causes it?

I tried the sites you gave but my ram tests seem okay. I have not added any new hardware so at this point I am still at a lose what ot do.

I don't claim to have the answer, but only a comment. When I have run into a physical memory dump on Windows 2000 computers it has almost always meant that the hard drive was failing. Make sure your stuff is backed up.
