Hi
I have Backup Exec 12 installed on Server1. As part of the daily backup schedule, Server1 is backed up as well as a few folders located on Server2. I have had no problems backing up the files on Server2, until last Friday evening when I added 1 additional folder to the G drive on Server2.
Since then, every time the backup job runs it fails during the verification stage with an error of.....
Drive and media mount requested: 06/08/2010 04:36:57
Media mount failed.
User canceled a Physical Volume Library operation.
V-79-57344-33861 - The media operation was terminated by the user.
The .DR file that is required for Intelligent Disaster Recovery is not updated.
....I have shutdown and reopened Backup Exec, restarted the services, and even edited the size of my recycle bins(!) something I bizarrely found linked to the above error message on another forum............but still the error message happens.
Today is Friday and I now have 5 backup jobs with this message.
The backup is backing up(!) and the I am able to restore files from the tapes ok, but the error message are worrying me.
I have seen this error message on other threads on this forum site, but the 'solutions' do not work for me (editing the registry, etc).
Help!
