error message CR 8.5

Hello,

I'm using CR 8.5, CE 8 which comes w/5 licenses. When there are more than 5 users logging in and viewing the report via our web application, we get the following error:

Crystal Report Viewing Log On
The Web Component Server could not log you on to the APS.

Is there anyway for me to redirect users to a static html page instead of them getting this error? Or can you tell me where this message is being generated or can it be changed?

I haven't used CE8 in 5 years, but I would think that this is part of the logonform.csp, something like that.

Thank you for your assistannce synapsevampire. Do you know where I would go in to change the setting so that it doesn't call this .csp file but calls something else?

I think that you'd need to rewrite the page, I don't know of any setting.

CSP is a bastardization of ASP, so if you understand ASP you should be able to figure it out.
