I am new to sybase, and have been told that my errorlog table inside of sybase is getting full, and i am down to 10% on my log partition, i have trunc log on chkpt turned on but i am not sure what the errorlog table is.
Does anyone know what this is or how to check it???
thnxs for any help..

Hi Marvin,

They might be talking abt. syslog table i.e. transaction log table which is getting full, there is only errorlog file in sybase I know, check for errorlog file for exact error message. "DUMP TRAN WITH TRUNCATE_ONLY" will work for clearing the log, check for the other "DUMP TRAN......" option too, use sp_helpdb <db_name> to check the current usage of log and db.

all the best,
