Hello
This isn't an error,just an IOS release thing.It's just showing you the resources that being reserve.
If you don't like seeing it you can make the IOMEM (input/ouput memory) static by using the below command:
"memory-size iomem ?"
<5-50> percentage of DRAM to use for I/O memory: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 (default), 30, 40, 50

Router(config)#memory-size iomem <5-50> = value of total memory percentage of choice.

Thanks again for your help but again the problem is I can't type otherwise I would've solved the problem by TFTPing or issuing any other command.
It simply doesn't take any kind of typing or key stroke, hang on the last line (changed state to down).

I have seen if the router is configured and tacacs is configured but can't get to the tacacs server it will take 3-4 minutes before it will come back on the tacacs timeout and you can't type in anything. Eventually it will come back but its slow .

Then again, it gives an snmp host name...weird...

Did it give you indication that the erase was successful? Also, I would download Tera Term...HyperCrap sucks, IMHO

Are the interfaces plugged into anything? Is the activity light going ape?
