Hi all,

I use two Aloha employees to handle online orders. As of the last couple of weeks, I've been get an error message saying "invalid employee password". The strange thing was I never assigned a password to either one. To fix this issue, I ran the dbconfig.exe with default settings, refreshed the data, deleted both of my online order employees, refreshed the data once more, recreated the same two employees (no change here), and refreshed the data for a third time. It seems like there was a corruption on the db level.

Log on to a POS Terminal as a manager. Go to Functions/Employees/Reset Password. Select each of the two employees that you are having difficulty with. Then, using the Employee ID number log each back on. You will most likely get a message that the password was reset by a manager. That is OK. Logon again. If it prompts you for a new password, you the employee ID number. that should resolve your problem. If not, contact me at bill.bradley@askbillbradley.com

Good luck.
