Just installed our first V5.2 system , and downloaded openssh from IBM at: then downloaded openssl .bff files from Bull freeware at:
(got openssl-0.9.6.7 )
*
Installed both via smitty install OK, but when running scipt to run keygen I get error:
# ./install.sh
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program /usr/local/bin/ssh-keygen because of the following errors:
0509-150 Dependent module /usr/local/lib/libcrypto.a(libcrypto.so.0) could not be loaded.
0509-152 Member libcrypto.so.0 is not found in archive
*
The file exists:
# find / -name "*libcrypto*"
/usr/local/lib/libcrypto.a
and I have:
# echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
/usr/local/lib
*
I am at a loss as to what to do now; a colleague suggested that the V5.2 ssh binary is perhaps compiled with a different version of openssl?
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks, Bernie.
Fixed!
Replaced the Bull openssl with IBM's file:
openssl-0.9.6g-3.aix4.3.ppc.rpm and all is well.
