I'm trying to install SCO on my Micron PC. I have two hard-drives that I have tried partitioning as DOS, I've had Windows installed on one, Linux on one, etc. I've tried different variations. I boot from a 3.5" disk and it boots fine. At the BOOT: I hit return and it starts to load, I then pick my CD-ROM to install from CD. IT starts to load and then I get a message "WARNING: wd0 : Timeout on fixed disk dev 1/0"

Any ideas?

rcbatlinux,

I'm not sure, but it looks like it's trying to find a Western Digital SCSI controller, which can sometimes hang.

At the Boot: prompt, try this:

[tt] defbootstr disable=dptr,efp,iiop,wdex[/tt]

This will prevent it searching from a number of SCSI controllers.
