Error installing PEAR

Hello,

I am trying to install the PEAR package with EasyPHP1-7 and I keep getting the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function:staticpusherrorhandling() in C:\DOCUME~1\valerie\LOCALS~1\Temp\gop7.tmp\PEAR\Downloader.php on line 258.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this?
