Hi,

When attempting to create a process report for any process for a recent date, a dialog states (amongst other things) Unable to generate report... The summary database does not contain information for this report

Taking things a step further, looking in the server log
(Resource manager / Summary Database Tab / "View Server log" Button)
it is full of similar messages to the following…

20 January 2005 18:00:03 - System - Ignoring duplicate import request for file "C:\Program Files\Citrix\Citrix Resource Manager\SummaryFiles\1C4F258C38C1D40" from host "HOMER"

… from all three of our Citrix servers. None of the servers is therefore successfully updating the RM database.[sad]

Has anybody come across this before?

Further info...
I have found a post stating that the file MonitorChangesLog.1 or MonitorChangesLog.0 need to be in "C:\Program Files\Citrix\Citrix Resource Manager\ServerLogs" but they are.

The directory "C:\Program Files\Citrix\Citrix Resource Manager\SummaryFiles" on our database connection server has files going back to the middle of december, so presumably this has been going on for some time.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Many
thanks in advance for any help.

Firstly test your DSN connection.

Secondly you can update the summary database now, what happens then ?

Thirdly as an after thought.

Backup the C:\Program Files\Citrix\Citrix Resource Manager\SummaryFiles directories and then remove the duplicate file name files.

Just noticed (doh!) this is a follow on, sorry Andy.

Have you set up you Summary database. I can give you a pointer to RM docs if you need them.
