Here is the error message in the sending box:

Task ' - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x8004060C) : 'Unknown Error 0x8004060C'
Task 'mail.associaonline.com - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x8004060C) : 'Unknown Error 0x8004060C'

I received an email, tried to respond and it won't send. I got on webmail only to find out the person had responded to my response! (that is still in my outbox!) It won't delete, gives me an unitentifiable error and the original message won't delete.

THEN, I tried to delete a task and it gave me an error "message interface has returned an error."

Any ideas?! Help!!!

Hi,

I'm assuming you're using Outlook...

It sounds like your PST or OST is full, according to this article :- the error code x8004060C is a unique error code that is designated for a failure to deliver to a .pst file Inbox because the .pst file is full. You can check whether this is the case by trying to create something such as a Contact. If it is full, it will report an error message.

Pre-Outlook 2003 format PST files are limited to a size of 2Gb whereas 2003 version PST files can go up to 16Gb I think.

There is a resolution in the article above but I have not tried this so cannot guarantee effectiveness. I would say you've got two options:

1. Upgrade to 2003 (if you haven't already) and then create a new PST file and import data from the old.

2. Delete or archive some of your older information and then compact the PST file to free up space.

If you need assistance on how to do either of these things, just ask. Hope this helps.

J.
