Error in installation?

I'm trying to use the wizard to set up a SqlDataSource connection. It works fine except I can't get it to update. When I get to the "Configure the Select Statement" screen and click on the "Advance" button, all check boxes are disabled for the "Advanced SQL Generation Options" screen. Can anyone please tell me if I installed this incorrectly? All of the instructions I've read from the Microsoft site, other sites and books state that this should be pretty straight forward. Thanks

What version of SQL are you running? 2000, 05, 08

What, if any, Service Pack are are you on?
