I am calling various .rpt files from a url... occasionally an "Error in file [filename]" occurs when the activex viewer loads. If I refresh the page, the report displays correctly. From then on, the error will not occur again in that particular browser instance.
I have a number of reports that I call, and the error appears to occur randomly... not all reports generate the error and sometimes reports that have generated the error in past stop doing so.
I suspect that at times the server components aren't initialising correctly, but I'm guessing.
Has anyone ever had a similar problem, and if so, how do I solve this?
If the error always occurred, or occurred on all the reports, I would have something to work from, but the randomness of it has me stumped.
I've looked on Seagate's Knowledge base and forums but haven't found even a mention of this problem.
Thanks for your assistance / thoughts / instructions on how to format server hardrives, etc...
