Error in disk private region

Hello,

WIN 2K O/S / ip384 all disks are configured and formatted as basic disks

ran dmdiag.exe on machine ==> on all the disks,
What is the "private region" of a disk; never heard of it before.

How important is this?
Couldn't find anything informative on support.microsoft.com and not much either on the web.
