Sounds like it can't talk to the MSS. Are you sure the prep is all done on it?

reloaded MAS - run dct tool once again - and it worked

Any update about the issue?

I have meet the same problem.
Does it the connection between MSS and MAS caused this issue?

I am getting the same thing, my first MAS is up and working and is the the domain controller, MAS2 is giving me heartache. I was able to ping the MSS with both name and IP from MAS2 so it can definitly see it. Hopefully a reload will fix me up.

Spelling counts in the trusted server fields on the MSS. DAMN I cannot beleive I missed that.

Spelling and upper and lower case do also. I put in a system that i copied the name from the mas to the mss and it was Mas1
but it was really mas1 mand it failed until i removed the capital M
