Error importing text

Publisher XP keeps erroring every time I try to import text. It says that there isnt enough memory to complete and that I should try closing down other applications down and try again. This does not work. I have checked the hard drive and there is plenty of room there and the virtual memory seems fine too. no other applications appear to be affected


can anyone help pretty please
