Error importing Excel worksheet "Search key was not found"

I am trying to import an Excel sheet into an access db to analyse. I receive the following error message....
"Search key was not found". Can anyone explain how to get around this.

Search key was not found
This message is usually a sign of corrupted table.

unfortunately, I cannot add much more than what I have,
also I did a repair and still have the same issue.
