My application has an access 2003 front-end and Oracle 9i backend( tables are linked). When I connect I get the DNS connect box to enter in Oracle SID,username , pwd. This works fine when I connect as "system", but when I connect as any other user like Scott, I get a bunch of errors. I would like to customize the error when I login as a non-dba user to say that "login denied" etc. I cant understand where the connnect parameters are stored in Access? Thanks.
