I have a Win2000 SP3 computer with a HP LJ1200 attached to USB port. Was working fine for a couple of weeks and now it is receiving to "error found..." message when trying to print after a Shutdown or restart. We can get around the error by replugging USB connection, but that is only bubble gum fix. Have connected to rear USB connectors as opposed to the front ones, same problem. Have even replaced USB cable and even tried a different printer, same problem occurs. Everything else on USB ports(mouse, Sprint phone cradle) seems to work fine. Any ideas??

I'm not experienced with usb so I don't have any ideas from that side. Mine is connected parallel.
From printer side, I've seen some discussion about PCL6 drivers being more finicky than PCL5 drivers. Do you suppose trying a PCL5 driver (you can download it from HP) instead of PCL6 driver which came with printer would help?
