Error encountered while unpacking a CQ package file

Dear Friends,

I'm stuck in middle of troubleshooting a critical production issue. I'm trying to take snapshot of Production environment by moving the entire Production environment to UAT environment. I'm using CQPack utility to pack the whole of CQ Data Store on Production including export of security information (.lae file). Now here is the problem, when i'm trying to unpack the CQ package file in UAT using CQUnpack utility it throws an error

"Error: Error encountered when accessing the package file"

Does anyone of you come across this kind of error. If so any solutions or suggestions to successfully unpack the CQ package file
