Error encountered during install on HPUX

I just encountered an error during a install of Oracle 8i on a HPUX 11 system.

Error in invoking target ntscontab.o of makefile

/mass1/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk

I have installed jdk 1.2 and all needed patches.

Would it affect the installation at all if I ignore the message.
