Hi all,

Im very new with businessobjects and I was performing my first importing using the import wizard but the following error come up:

Committing the export object to the destination CMS failed. Reason: Unable to add SI_PATH property.

And logged on the CMS everywhere I click (folders , servers.....) I get the following error:

There was an error while retrieving data from the server: Unable to get the admin object for the APSAdmin service for server .

Im already tried to use the administrator and others users but the errors persists....the enviroment is UNIX...

On CCM all servers appears to bue alive and enabled....I already read that maybe its the CCm and CMC are no sychronized but I cannot check the servers at the CMS due to the second error above (There was an error whil....) ...

The ccm.config appears to be ok....I even added this satatment to it : ""If your destination system is UNIX, modify the ccm.config file to add a parameter “-ServerMaxIdleTime 90” for each FRS.""

Any solution?

Tks,

Joaotelles

What type of user account is your BusinessObjects install running under? The default is the local services account on the server where it's running.

If your FileStore is on the same server as BOE, you need to give the local services account full rights to the folder where the FileStore is located.

If your FileStore is somewhere else on the network, you'll need to have a network user ID set up for the BOE services to run under and that account will require full access rights to the folder where the FileStore is located.
