Error during building, please help...

I just bought VC++ 6.0 yesterday, and I think its great. However, I ran into a program during the building process while trying to build a console application. It keep on giving me this erorr: "Error spawning Link.exe". I know this has something to do with the linker, but I don't know what. Any help would be appreciate.
