Has anyone come up with a resolution to this issue yet? I have a Exchange 2003 Server running. I am trying to connect to it using Excahnge Administrator 5.5 w/service pack4.

I get the error "DS_E_COMMUNICATIONS_PROBLEM" when I try to connect to the server. My XP-PRo workstation is in the same domain as the exchange server. Ive tried connecting using IP address, I have checked permisions, all good.

Any ideas?

Install the Exchange 2003 tools from the disk, then apply service pack 2 to the workstation. Does this fix the problem? If not, try looking at DNS.

My workstation is running service pack 2. Are you saying I need to install the tools from the cd BEFORE updating the worksation to service pack2?

I dont think DNS is relevent as I am using the servers IP to connect with Exchange Administrator 5.5.
