Error Downloading Mail From A Linux Server

Sir,
i can send outgoinf mail but i can't get a incoming mail on my inbox......
(when i Click on my INBOX there is a ERROR written like this) An IMAP Command did not complete successfully.Could not select specified folder on the IMAP server.You mighty try refreshing your forlder list to synchronize with the IMAP Server.
(when i Click on a Details)SELECT failed: Can't open INBOX (file /var/spool/mail/jayson): not in valid mailbox format

Hi,

This just sounds like an internal corruption in the mail file. Try to edit your /var/spool/mail/jayson with pico/vi (or other editor) and make sure that all messages in the spool begin with the word 'From'.
