I am getting the above error when I schedule a report to Word format. The strange thing is that this does not always happen. It will always happen with the same report but for other reports it may not happen. I would appreciate any help on this. We are using Crystal Enterprise 9 and Crystal Reports 9.

Thanks,
Bessebo

I'd make sure that you've applied the latest service pack first:

If that fails, try isolating wht is causing the failure by suppressing sections.

You might also try exporting to RTF instead (eventually they became one export, I think that they were still separate in CR 9 though).

This is only happening on the server because a workaround is to schedule the report to Crystal Report format, then export to Crystal Report format onto a file on your desktop, and then to export to Word and it will use the client DLLs. So I'm assuming that a dll has been corrupted on the server. It also fails when exporting to rich text format. I think this started occurring when I was trying to export a fairly large report to Word format and I had to kill it. Ever since this has been happening.
