Error detected by Database DLL

Hello, I'm using VB6 with SP4 and Crystal Reports OCX that came with VB.

I'm using a program that generates a report to screen based on a Access 95 DataBase with Password.

There are about 15 Computers to install this solution.

on a specific computer that has been formatted and installed Windows 98 SE from scratch, i always get error code 20534 - Error detected by Database DLL, every other computers are working fine.

i'm using the same setup program that i used on other computers.

What is wrong Here ?!?!?!??!??!?!?

Are you using ADO? If you are then the problem could be with the ADO install on the machines.

Is MDAC installed on the 98 machine? If your program is using ODBC to connect to the datasource then the datasource must be setup and MDAC must be installed. If you're on a 95 machine you'll also need to install DCOM98. Snaggs
