hi @ll ...
i've set up an new crystal enterprise server. this works without any problems. before that i've made an backup of my reports. after i had set up the new server i've published them and want to fetch one of it.
then i get the error message:

Error detected by database DLL. [On Page Server: Servername.pageserver]

now i've found an solution in the bo knowledge base, but this didn't work. could anyone of you help me ?

Hi,
The fact that it is the database DLL that is throwing the error usually means something changed in the data source or the query is invalid..Try opening the report in CR and use the Verify Database option to detect any metadata changes.
Since you do not indicate what database is being accessed, I cannot be more specific.

Christian: Please be specific about BO KB articles, rather than you found one, and mention the database and connectivity used for the report.

Aside from Turk's very good ideas, it may also be that the settings within the Database tab on the CE server are wrong, a common problem is forgetting to set up the same ODBC configuration on a new server.
