Error delivering mail: a "_" apears betwin user names

I have problem delivering external email..
lotus 5 in the admin console the email gets a "_" betwin names by example:
a mail comes from outdside to:
joaquim.dias@org.com and should be delivered to:

joaquim Dias/Dep Informatic/ORG International

but it come to:

Joaquim_Dias/Dep_Informtico/ORG_International
and dont deliver the email..

any ideia ?

One place you can start looking is in the NAB, see the DOMAINS view. If you have a GLOBAL DOMAIN definition there, look into the settings under the tab 'Conversions'.

Not sure if the above causes the symptom described in your posting, but it is worth a look anyway. Check at least the following under the tab SMTP conversion:

- Internet address lookup
- The section 'If disabled or no match, convert as follows'

Also make sure that the servers NOTES.INI do NOT have an variable called SMTPMTA_Space_Repl (It is from the MTA times, but could still have some negative effect...)

Not sure if it helps, but worth checking...
