Hi,
I am using roles based on custom restriction on a dimension - dimension member and its descendants are allowed. The roles are created by code driven by a table where dimensions, levels and allowed sets are defined.
There is total rebuild of OLAP database used.
Unfortunatelly after the role has been defined a dimension member has been renamed and rebuild.
Trying to delete a role (not based on renamed member) I get error message. Going to details I have got the message complaining about role based on renamed member - not deleted one.
The workaround is to delete renamed member based role and later I can delete also original role(s).
My question: Is it possible to turn off the checking of other roles during deleting a role?
What will hapen when two or more members are renamed? Will it create a deadlock?
Is it possible to turn out the domain account/groups checking when during roles population.
Thanks
DawsonH
