Error Creating Sync Set

Whenever we try to create a sync set on the server, or set connect via the network, we get an error on the server. GM goes through all of the DBNAME created, then gets to "Creating transfer file for GMBase tables". The next thing we get is a popup saying:

General SQL error.
Native SQL error 2760

1: Server message: Specified owner name
'GoldMine_Sales_and_Marketing' either does not exist or you do not have permission to use

BDE 500[4/11/1999] GoldMine: 6.00.30403

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? I have no clue where an owner name of "GoldMine_Sales_and_Marketing' would come into the picture.

GoldMine is trying to create temporary tables to create the sync set and has insufficient rights in SQL for some reason. Did you recently migrate this database from another server or create a new database? That's usually when this error occurs.

You should be able to fix it by deleting the SQL login name and recreating it. Per FrontRange, "delete the SQL logins created before the database was restored, and recreate the SQL login ID."

In general, it sounds like you are using a Network setup to do your network sync. Common error - use the IP driven sync settings.
