I was attempting to create a secondary domino direcory and needed to create a pubnames.ntf. Each time I attempt to create it, I get a message that "you are not autorized to perform that operation": servername filename. I have manager writes to the system, I installed the database. So thought I had the access required. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks...

Hi this is because in the server document you have not specified that who can create a database on the server and who can create replica on the server. This field is by default blank restricting access to any one by default. You will need to add your name in the field.

That does not resolve the issue. Books state that if that field is blank than all that can access the server can create databases. For the heck of it I put my name in and still did not change anything. Strange thing is I can create any other type of database (at least the ones I have attempted, 3 others) no problem I just cannot do so with the Pubnames.ntf template. Is there something that needs to be enabled before you can created a secondary domain directory?
