Our ACD went down last night and due to the holiday I am stuck waiting on a technician to fix this. I am sure it is probably something simple. When I go to startup on the server I get the following message "Could not start CCMS Control Service, Contact Center Manager Server cannot be started. Please check the startup.log and ccmssrvc.log for details.

There was nothing in the startup.log and here is what I found in the ccmssrvc log.

Anyone seen this? It looks like it doesnt do anything after it requests the ccms licenses.

I think it might have to do with the grace period.

Yes License manager is running. I looked at the lm.log file and found this though

You will have to send Nortel the unlock codes which they will run through some program they have. From that, they will produce an unlock code that you can enter through the Grace Period Reset on the CCMS. Until you reset the this, CCMS will not come up. Nortel will probably want you to update the LM PEPs as well. There are a couple of PEPs that address the steady leek of the Grace Period time.

you will also need to check why your ccms and license manager lost communication otherwise you run the risk of this happening again.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
