When I try to convert my drive drom a basic disk to a dynamic disk I get an error saying there isn't enough free disk space to complete the operation. The drive is 60GB in total, partitioned into C: (20GB) and D: (40GB). C: has only about 2GB in use and D: about the same.

Clear out your temp folder by clicking on start then run type %temp% and click on ok. Delete all files in that folder.
