I am getting the following error when I try to run a java file connecting to an Oracle database:
Java error Class oracle.jdbc.driver.Oracledriver not found

Can you point me in the right direction of how I can find out what I might still need to setup?

Thanks.

have you installed the jar file containing the oracle jdbc drivers in the classpath?

This might seem a bit pedantic but if you've typed the error accurately then then you are missing a capitalization on oracle.jdbc.driver.Oracledriver
it should be oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

Sorry if you just think 'well yeah alright I just typed it wrong' !!
