Hi,
I've recently upgraded to Arcserve 11.5 sp3 and I'm having trouble getting the agent to work on 2 Fedora Core 7 Linux servers which were working previously with Arcserve 9.5.
I get a warning when I do the install saying the OS is not certified to run the agent but I got that with all my other Linux installs and have had no issues...the install just continues, I can see the process running and the server is listening on port 6051.
However when I try to add the server to the Arcserve Manager I get the error: Lost connection with <<hostname>> (IP Address). Do you want to try to reconnect?
As I said I'm running the agent on Red Hat Enterprise 4, CENTOS 4.6 with no issues but it won't work on my Fedora 7 boxes.
Anyone ever come across this?
Thanks,
P
