Error communicating with Firebox 10.0.0.1. IO_ERROR: Message processing timeout. Please try again

Hi

Any help appreciated. I tried to make a change on the watchguard firewall XTM22 and now keep getting the following error:

Error communicating with Firebox 10.0.0.1. IO_ERROR: Message processing timeout. Please try again

Has anyone experienced this sort of thing before? and know how I can correct it.

have you tried to default the unit again? also is this with the management console or the web interface?

Hi, thanks for the reply ... the answer is no. Currently the firewall is doing its job, but I cant log in and make changes. I need to wait until the weekend before I try that. I will let you know, I was hoping it would not come to that.
