Where do I find a list of the error codes output in ARCServe that are typically after the letters EC=*error*?

I'm not sure about a complete list, but I ususally go to
and then click on my version of ARCserve and then use the Quick Search box in the upper left of the screen and type in the error code. This will sometimes produce helpful results, sometimes not. You can also do a search on Google--that's how I found this forum.

I have had similar trouble. Information about the workings of Arcserve is hard to come by. I have come to the conclusion that ArcserveIT is an unsuported product and an un-acceptable risk to use as an industrial strength backup solution.

Aussie,

THank you for your opinion, but it doesn't help me with my problem.

Chris,
If you launch Arcserve manager Open the Help window and expand the Appendex there is a section there with a complete listing of error codes... You can also visit Novell's novell.support.com/forum there are some good forums there about Arcserve problems and solutions.....
