Error codes 2 and 46 under load from Btrieve 6.15

Hi,

I have an application running Btrieve 6.15 on three load balanced Citrix Terminal servers. The System will happily log in around 70-80 sessions and runs smoothly, however in live use it is having difficulty with Btrieve returning error code 2 and 46 intermittantly.

The Errors are not real in the sense there is access to the directory as required (46) and there is no file damage (2).

The Btrieve engine is not hitting any of the highwater marks in the service monitor.

There are only three connections that Btrieve is aware of, is it possible that the requesters can't handle the data throughput req'd?

The system is fully patched to version 6.15 451 on all machines.

Any suggestions welcome

Could there be a conflict between applications using the same data? We had a problem with that.

I've also seen virus scanners cause some problems since they like to check things out when file open requests occur, and under heavy load this might be interfering. Can you disable the scanner on the directories containing your Btrieve files? Linda
