error code SRPT095

I have a customer with an 81c running succession 3.0. This customer receives error code "SRPT095 hirm: sio2 1 15 1 on the remote side is out of service" and within seconds is followed by "SRPT blah blah is in service". I have already replaced the SUTL card which is in core 1 slot 15 and the problem did not go away...any ideas?

since the error comes from the active side it could be the active side. the stanby may be up but the active cannot maintain the comm between the two.. other then a backplane i can't think of any hardware that could cause that. on the older cab i would think i had a bent pin on the d/e cables.. let us know what you find, you may not get a lot of help here due to the fact that your the 1st to post that problem.. i don't think we've seen that one on line yet..

If I stat health before the I get the inservice message, it shows sio2 out of service on side 1. After thinking about it I have not tried to replace the system utility transition card on the backplane. I will post back if this works.
