error code when windows boots up with new cdrw in pc.
"windows could not load the installer for cd rom. contact
your hardware vendor for assistance." memorax says its my
win2k that is the problem. I cant get win2k to get trying to
install the new cdrw drive for win2k is suppose to provide
the cd rom drive for this and in device manager its a genic
cd rom diver that is installed. tried taking it out boot up and shur down then install it and boot up. trying to jog the
win2k to accept it in boot up. It recognizes everywhere else.
Its strange. Help here it you can.

Ok im not exactly sure what your asking here. Are you trying to boot from a blank cd? Are you trying to run an installer from a burned cd? Sorry just not sure what your asking.
