error code- can't get a report to open

Every time I try to open a particular report an error pops up: crw32.exe has generated errors-An error log is created. Then it crashes the program. The report runs everyday on a report scheduler, but I can't open it to make changes. Where is this log? Is there any other way to pull up this file to make changes?

what version of crystal are you using? (is that what you are opening the report in?)

what report scheduler?
does the report reside on your workstation and are you trying to open it there or across-network?

not sure where your log would be.

 
I'm using Cr9 with Report Scheduler Pro, all reside on the same work station except for the database. I have 32 reports scheduled and this is the only one I have a problem with creating that error.

I looked around a bit and could not find any info on where the error log would be; good possibilities are: in the root directory of your working machine or in the installation directory where the crw32.exe file resides.
I am not sure that will be too much help if you do find it.

Is is possible that you are trying to open this file while it is being run by the scheduler?
 
Does it error in report scheduler, or in Crystal Reports 9, or both?

Unfortunately, this is a common behavior for corrupt reports, and the best thing to do then is revert to an earlier copy.

Well experienced Crystal developers are constantly saving under new revision names as they go along because of the frequency of crashes and corruption.

I blew up CR 10 twice today...
