Error Code 8007001F - Device not functioning

I am running a VB Script to read Excel data and create about 100 new users on a server with Windows 2000 Server(SP 2) with Active Directory. The connection to the spreadsheet is via ODBC

After successfully adding 60 of new users Windows Sctipting Host returns an error:

Error: A device attached to the system is
not functioning
Code: 8007001F
Source: (null)

Can someone suggest why?
