The specified shared directory cannot be found.Make sure specified network name correctly.

I am currently trying to troubleshoot an earlier version of Paradox.Version 3.5 in a Win95 enviorment.I keep getting this error and while I know what it means, I don't know to what part of the program to go to alter the network path.

The DOS shortcut on the desktop is C:\pdox35\pdox.bat.The program files and data are both store on C:\ in the pc in question. It looks however that it is trying to find a network path instead of looking in C:\

If Paradox has been installed as Network, rather than standalone, you need to have access to a Netfile directory.

In v4.0, you can specify the location of the net file as a command line option, so I guess you can in v3.5 also.

Paradox -net c:\pdox35\ (last backslash is needed)

It could be that the network file is looking for a directory that does not exist. There is also the NUPDATE utility - used to specify the default netfile directory (and other stuff, such as licences).
