One case:

one P670 server is updateing from 8C to 16C.

But after installing CPU/pass through/L3cache,the server
started and stopped in the code "B00E".At last,it come the error
code "406C 0EA0" and powerred off.

In the error log the SP menu,it also displayed "406C
0EA0".Except it,nothing.

Serching the service guide,the result:

1. Access the service processor error log. Find the error log
entry for the 406x 0EA0 error. Look for a hardware error of the
form 450x yyyy, 460x yyyy, or 4B2x yyyy with a timestamp within
a few minutes of the 406x 0EA0 error. Follow the actions for
this hardware error.

2. If there is no hardware error in the service processor error
log with a timestamp that is close to the 406x 0EA0 error, or
following the actions for the hardware error does not resolve
the problem, check for platform firmware updates. If an update
is available, apply it.

3. If a platform firmware update is not available, or the update
does not correct the problem, call service support.

Try:
1?no 46XX log.

2?had updated the firmware to the newest level(3H061030).

3?call service support?Oh,god save me.

Any help?Thank you.

Did you do the whole "brush, vacuum, brush, inspect the pad and MCM / L3 / pass through with a magnifying glass" thing before you added the MCM, L3 and pass through module?
Did you check the MCM core voltage before and after?
Where did you get the new MCM and L3 / pass through module? ebay? lol

Sounds like you broke it.
