I had the following code thrown up by the phaser 850 today

it starts up, and asks for a cleaning sheet,

goes through the startup cycle- drum etc and then does nothing, aftyer about 30 minutes it gives the above

any ideas??

Ok, the service manual references Service Bulletin 460. SB460 which advises that:

Cause:
Manufacturing identified that the wrong guage of wire was being used in production of the cabling for the top half upper feed assy. This can cause intermitant connections to the preheat entry sensors. Printer serial numbers from M0D9000 to M0G3500 may encounter this problem. The other cause could be a defective sensors or unseated sensor flags.

Recommendation:
Replace the Upper Feed Assy. Xerox part number 351-1047-01
