Hi,
I upgraded my presario 9040se to xp pro after that my soundblaster audigy 2 zs doesn't work. I've tried reinstall it, remove it etc but it doesn't work. All I get is " the unit doesn't work. Error code 10"

Any suggestions?

This device cannot start. (Error Code 10) Device failed to start. Click Update Driver to update the drivers for this device.
On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooting wizard.

See if there are any updates for your driver from the manufacturer that are designed for XP.
 
I feel for you about this problem. But linney's advice above is correct. I amend it by saying:

. There is on the CD that came with the Audify a ZAPxx.exe file to clean existing registry and files. Use that.

. Then download a new driver set from Creative. When the New Hardware Wizard appears, always click 'Have Disk' and point to a folder on your hard drive with the expanded driver set you downloaded.
