Hi

say i do a select and it brings back no results....
how can i detect this and deal with it??

i guess that the dealing part would be catered for by the HOST language in my case php.

Hi HandyAndy,

If you are using Oracle then you can raise an exception called

exception
when no_data_found then ....

What RDBMS are you using, it helps to give more details as handling such scenarios are vendor specific
