Hello;
have a rather complicated issue and hope someone can offer a bit of guidance.
Have a large sales order DB. It has an ODBC connection to DECS Admin. There are two number fields which auto-increment as other fields are filled in. When these fields fill in, the ordernumber field is automatically filled in.
The problem is when the connection to DECS stops while someone is entering an order, no order number is created and automatically filled in.
I need an auto command or agent that will give the user and option to choose and enter a random order number so the sales order process can continue until the DECS issue is resolved. In other words, there needs to be a way to override the current ordernumber field in the vent no number is entered.
I appreciate any help, I hope I gave enough information to be clear.
Thank you in advance...
