I've spent what seems an eternity uninstalling and re-installing call center reporting (and the SQL files and programs) on a BCM 400 4.0 and I finally got the unit to appear as if it was going to start transfering records. It has a huge file of records going back years, but I requested only from Jan1/13. Initially it started with a green status light in the connection field, but then when I started the transfer, the Status Led went red and the message changed to Error!CannotConnecttoCC. It's continuing to try and shows a red led but traffic indicating connection on the phone-computer image in the system status window. I think I've left a machine previously and found someone said it was working so I don't know if it's just filtering its way through all the old records up to the new? I don't know what to do as to maybe purging the records first and then trying to reconnect then? I'm going to leave it overnight and see if there's any progress. Ideas?

I saw after the time increment on the download status window that after the time had gone up to some 22 hours, it started counting backwards. It's now showing about 13 hours so is it suddenly going to start processing records and the LED indicator go green from the current red once it has reached the current record files of Jan1/13 and going forward? Or should I not bother waiting and just stop it and purge out all the former years which may take as long to do? Then try processing the most recent complete year?

Well that was a waste of time. Thank God I didn't hang around to watch it. Now it 's gone beyond the negative countdown and is counting upwards, but still with a not connected red LED? When I try to run purge data, it goes to an invalid page and gives messages:

/rcc/admin_pages/purge_database.asp, line 36
GET /rcc/admin_pages/purge_database.asp

How do you resurrect the dead?

Tried Re-installing the entire process again thinking I'd purge the old data first before trying to process the 2013 data. Same results
screen goes to:

Hello,

I don't want to sound like the unpleasant "RTFM" sort, but searching for "CannotConnecttoCC" in the Troubleshooting Guide provides the reason and solution for this...
Put simply, this message is sent by the BCM to RCC, when RCC tries to download data. In other words, the BCM is not letting RCC download data. Deleting data rom the RCC database should not make a difference to this.
The solution appears to be to restart the "voicemail" and CCRSAppServer" services from within the BCM Element Manager.
If this doesn't fix the problem, you would probably have to go through more official (commercial?) support channels.
